This is to let you know that I received your letter of 9 August 2018 on Sat., 11 August 2018, and have written a lengthy reply, to be mailed Tues., 8/14/2018.

I’m afraid I do not agree with your assessment that my issues are “covered under the City of San Diego’s code compliance ordinances” rather than Cal. Civ. Code § 841, and continue to push my case for fixing the damage done by AB 1404 to the 1872 statute in the letter to be mailed 8/14/2018.

Because I believe it is the responsibility of the California state legislature (not San Diego City Councilmember Chris Cate) to remedy problems with California’s flawed Good Neighbor Fence Act of 2013, I have cc’d him on the letter, and alerted Luis Pallera (in his office) to what’s going on.
